Cute
(shhh…)
it’s been a while.
I just want to re-post this in light of the many Pinoys raising their fists over Dan Brown calling Manila the “Gateway to Hell” inhis new novel.
I love you my Onion Skinned countrymen, you are consistent in your righteousness & hypocrisy : )
It’s been two days since I finished Bioshock Infinite and…. WOW. just. WOW. I can’t still recover from these mixed feelings especially, which I find very weird, sadness. Everything in it is so good! Yesterday, even if I was doing something else, I had spent the whole day daydreaming, analyzing and trying to understand the ending - that mind blowing ending.Well, I finally got it this morning(thank you, internet).
Infinite raised the bar and redefined what an excellent game should be. The visual presentation of Columbia is so good, I maxed out the graphic settings even if the game lags like hell just to look around the perfectly created world. Combine that with great choice of music and the best game storytelling of all time (which is debatable if compared to Half-Life) and BOOM! You got the game that makes you believe more that video games are art. The shooting and fighting parts are not really that good compared to the first two Bioshock games but they didn’t really matter.
SPOILER ALERT!
I am still happy about the game but that good ending is so sad. I don’t know why, what, and how I am saddened by the story but maybe, just maybe, because of the fact that Columbia, Anna as Elizabeth, and the Lutece twins (which I almost spelled Lettuce) should cease to exist for the sake of saving the world (or maybe just the 1980s New York). I just hate it when games, movies, and TV shows make you love a character (and a place like Columbia) then kill them in front of you like what Valve did with Eli Vance of the Half Life series.
Enough of these drama and bad English! Here’s a 1912 floating beach with “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” background music, which is one of my favorite part in Bioshock Infinite. :D
Random
Is it something?
Damn.
(There’s no other way to show my Happy Valentine’s greeting but a random, confusing and unrelated post. Well, enjoy your Valentine’s day. Keep sharing the love!)
you can’t just hate something about someone your really love. hehe…
